First year biology majors heard from Advisors Andrew Kroes and Ellery Wilkie on how to navigate the first two years of the biology major. Drs. Stephen Proulx and Eduardo Gonzalez then explained to students the diversity of majors for students to pursue in the biology program at UCSB.

After the information session, students were welcomed by advisors and faculty where they could ask questions about the majors, extracurriculars, and what it's like to live like a biology major at UCSB.

In addition to biology students, the first year majors could talk to and ask questions of the biology faculty members, including Julie Simpson, Zach Ma, Mike Wilton, Holly Moeller, Eduardo Gonzalez. The biology advisors, Andrew Kroes, Ellery Wilkie, and Evelin Ambrocio, were also on hand to answer any other major-related questions.
